Anthony Rodgers Dean Anthony Rodgers, 40, of New Cumberland, died Monday, May 3, 2004 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was a glazer for Harrisburg Glass, Shiremanstown location, for over 20 years; Vice Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 143, New Cumberland; a member of American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland; International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Local 252; and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Flyers fan. Dean was born February 24, 1964 in Harrisburg, to Thomas W. Rodgers of Carroll Twp., Duncannon and Sue Bradle of Camp Hill. Surviving are three brothers, Wayne A. of Etters, Jesse C. of New Cumberland and Daniel C. of Wormleysburg; two sisters, Kim R. (Rodgers) Fishel of Newport and Mary M. Damon of Duncannon; and his step mother, Pamela Ann Rodgers. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Scotland School for Veterans Children, Scotland School Foundation, 3583 Scotland Road, Scotland, PA 17254-0900. |
